Gladsaxe Kommune is a Danish municipality in the Hovedstaden region . The municipality is part of the capital region Hovedstadsområdet . The municipality, which has merged into a city, consists of the original villages of Bagsværd, Buddinge , Gladsaxe, Mørkhøj and Søborg. Trine Græse is Mayor from July 10, 2017. She is a social democrat.
