Ole Riber Rasmussen (born September 28, 1955 in Gladsaxe municipality , † February 11, 2017 ) was a Danish sports shooter . He was active in the skeet discipline .
successes
Ole Riber Rasmussen, who started for København's flight forum , took part in four Olympic Games . At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , he scored 196 points like Luca Scribani Rossi and finished second. In the jump-off for the silver medal, he prevailed without a miss against Scribani Rossi, who missed two goals. In 1988 he missed the next round in Seoul with 144 points as 27th, four years later he did not get past 55th place in Barcelona with 140 points. In 1996 he reached the final in Atlanta with 122 points, in which he did not miss a shot and just like Andrea Benelli scored 147 total points. There was a playoff for bronze, which Benelli won when he hit the sixth target while Rasmussen missed it.
In 1993 Rasmussen won silver with the team at the World Championships in Barcelona.
