Bo Dybdal Spellerberg (born July 24, 1979 in Gladsaxe ) is a Danish handball player who plays for the Swiss first division club TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen .

Spellerberg came through the clubs KFUM København and FIF to his current club KIF Kolding, for which the backcourt player has been active since 2002. With Kolding he won three championships and two cup wins. From April to July 2008 he helped out at short notice at the Spanish first division club CB Cantabria Santander . Since the 2018/19 season he has been a player-coach at the Swiss club TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen .

His international debut in the Danish national team was Spellerberg on March 9, 2000. With the Danish selection, he was at the 2008 European Championship in Norway and in the 2012 European Championship in Serbia European champion , and he finished at the European Championships twice third. At the 2007 World Cup in Germany, he played three preliminary round matches, but was then unable to participate in the main round due to a strain. In summer 2012 he took part in the Olympic Games in London . In 2013 he won the silver medal at the World Cup . At the 2014 European Championships in his own country, he was runner-up in Europe. So far, he has completed 245 internationals in which he scored 332 goals.

Bo Spellerberg is married to the handball player Louise Svalastog Spellerberg , who played for København Håndbold .
