The Jewish elementary school in Buchen , a town in the Neckar-Odenwald district in northern Baden-Württemberg , was an elementary school that was founded in 1834. It was maintained by the Buchen Jewish Community . The Baden Jewish edict of 1809 allowed the Jewish communities to build their own schools, provided they covered the costs.

The school was located in the former Gasthaus Sonne at Pfarrgasse 13 / corner of Haagstrasse (the building no longer exists). The Jewish elementary schools were dissolved with the introduction of simultaneous schools in the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1876. The Jewish school in Buchen continued as a religious school.
