Jewish cemetery (Brüel)
The Jewish cemetery Brüel is a Jewish cemetery in the town of Brüel in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The cemetery is outside the city in the direction of Weitendorf . There are 28 grave sites with a total of nine mostly badly weathered tombstones . The occupied area of the cemetery is surrounded by a wire fence, the unoccupied part of the cemetery is overgrown.
history
The cemetery was probably created in the 18th century. Around 1880 it was 1080 m². In May 1915, the burial place was sold to the political community, as the Jewish community in the place was dissolved in 1913. He was not violated during the Nazi era , but it was in early 2001. Three 15- and 16-year-olds from the right-wing scene were identified as perpetrators.
