Jewish cemetery (Neuhofen)
The Neuhofen Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Neuhofen , a local community in the Rhein-Pfalz district in Rhineland-Palatinate . The cemetery is on the border between Neuhofen and Waldsee in the corridor In den Speyerer Wingert . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument .
history
The Jewish cemetery in Neuhofen was laid out in 1910 and occupied from 1910 until the 1930s. It served the Jewish community in Neuhofen as a burial place. The community's dead have been buried in Waldsee since the 1820s . The small cemetery has an area of 2.90 ares . From the small number of burials, six tombstones ( mazewot ) are still present today.
