Jewish cemetery (Velhartice)

The Jewish cemetery in Velhartice (German Wellartitz , formerly Welhartitz ), a community in Okres Klatovy in the Czech Republic , was laid out in 1858. The Jewish cemetery in the forest near the hamlet of Kouklovna has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .
There are still around 60 gravestones ( Mazevot ) in the cemetery today . The last burial took place in 1934.
