The Jewish cemetery in Český Krumlov , in German Krumau (also Bohemian Krumau , Krumau an der Moldau or Krummau ), a town in Jihočeský kraj in the Czech Republic , was established in 1891.

history

The industrialist Ignaz Spiro had arranged for a Jewish cemetery with a large mourning hall to be laid out in the early 1890s . Previously, the deceased of the Jewish community of Krumlov had been buried in the Jewish cemetery in Rosenberg ( Rožmberk nad Vltavou ).
