The Jewish cemetery Meimbressen is a Jewish cemetery in Meimbressen ( large municipality Calden ) in the Hessian district of Kassel . It is a protected cultural monument .

The 7,230 m² cemetery , one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in North Hesse , is located on the outskirts of Meimbressen - on Stangenweg opposite the general local cemetery and opposite the confluence of Birkenweg and Stangenweg. The oldest gravestones date from around 1700. The last burial took place in 1938. According to a grave directory from 1937, there were 127 tombstones at that time.
