Jewish cemetery (Randegg)
The Jewish cemetery Randegg is a Jewish cemetery in Randegg , a district of the municipality of Gottmadingen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Wuerttemberg . The cemetery is a protected cultural monument and is located in the Won Flözler near the border with Switzerland .
history
The Jewish community in Randegg initially buried its dead in the Jewish cemetery in Gailingen until 1746 . Then a separate cemetery with an area of 75.15 acres was created. Today there are still 330 tombstones ( mazewot ), the oldest tombstone is from 1810 and the last burial took place in 1938.
The cemetery was desecrated in 1945, 1966, 1970 and 1986.
