The Jewish cemetery Schmallenberg is a Jewish cemetery in the town of Schmallenberg in the Hochsauerland district . It is located below the Selbend street and is a listed building .

The site was used as a cemetery before 1798. There are 44 tombstones on the 458 m² site . From 1842 the Jewish community Schmallenberg used the cemetery. The gravestone inscriptions in Hebrew and German are from the period between 1871 and 1961.

The last burial took place in 1961. Selma Friedrich, born on January 23, 1881, died on September 1, 1961. In the post-war years 1947 and 1952, two further burials took place.
