The Jewish cemetery Winterberg is a Jewish cemetery in the town of Winterberg in the Hochsauerlandkreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is fenced in and is located on a mountain slope on Wernsdorfer Straße . There are eight tombstones ( Mazewa ) on it.

history

The cemetery was occupied from 1836 to 1935. Before that, the Winterberg Jews were buried in Medebach . During the National Socialist era , the cemetery was severely damaged and restored after 1945. It has been protected as a historical monument since December 13, 2010 .
