The Jewish cemetery in Austerlitz (Czech Slavkov u Brna ), a town 20 kilometers east of Brno in the Czech Republic , was laid out around 1745. The Jewish cemetery , located north of the city by the St. Urban Chapel, is a protected architectural monument .

history

The old Jewish cemetery in Austerlitz, on the road to Zdánice, had to be abandoned because it blocked the owner of the manor house from having a clear view of his castle. Some of the tombstones were moved to the new cemetery.
