The Bad Wimpfen Jewish cemetery is a well-preserved Jewish cemetery in Bad Wimpfen ( Heilbronn district , Baden-Württemberg ).

In the 330 m² cemetery , which is on the Erich-Sailer-Straße at the exit to Heinsheim , there are 21 tombstones for Jews from Bad Wimpfen who died between 1896 and 1943.
history
At the end of the 15th century, the Jewish cemetery in Neudenau was also used by the Wimpfen Jews . The field name Judenkirchhof indicates that there was possibly a Jewish cemetery in Bad Wimpfen between the 16th and 18th centuries. Its location is no longer known.
From the 16th to the 18th century the Jews from Bad Wimpfen also used the Jewish cemetery in Heinsheim, and in the 19th century also the Jewish cemetery in Bad Rappenau . It was not until 1896 that the Jewish community of Bad Wimpfen on the outskirts of Wimpfen received its own burial site.
