history

At the end of the 15th century, the Jewish cemetery in Neudenau was also used by the Wimpfen Jews . The field name Judenkirchhof indicates that there was possibly a Jewish cemetery in Bad Wimpfen between the 16th and 18th centuries. Its location is no longer known.

From the 16th to the 18th century the Jews from Bad Wimpfen also used the Jewish cemetery in Heinsheim, and in the 19th century also the Jewish cemetery in Bad Rappenau . It was not until 1896 that the Jewish community of Bad Wimpfen on the outskirts of Wimpfen received its own burial site.
