Jewish cemetery in Zakopane

The Jewish cemetery in Zakopane is a small cemetery in Poland with an area of ​​approx. 0.08 hectares. A total of almost twenty people were buried here in the 1930s.

The cemetery was laid out in 1931. After the German invasion of Poland , it was destroyed by the occupiers together with the two synagogues in 1941 . In 2004 the cemetery was restored.

The cemetery is located east of the center of Zakopane on the Bachledzki Wierch hill near the Zakopane train station .
