Jürgen B. Hausmann (born October 29, 1964 in Alsdorf , Germany ) is the pseudonym of the teacher and cabaret artist Jürgen Karl Beckers, who lives in Alsdorf in the Aachen region . In order to avoid confusion with the well-known Cologne cabaret artist Jürgen Becker , Jürgen Beckers decided to change the name.

Live and act

Jürgen Beckers was a high school teacher at the Heilig-Geist-Gymnasium in neighboring Würselen . There he taught Latin, Greek and history. As a child he began his career as a handicraft speaker . Jürgen Beckers became known to a larger audience through his appearances at the Aachen Carnival Association (AKV). Here he regularly appears as a guest speaker at the awarding of the order against seriousness .

In 1999 Jürgen B. Hausmann decided to expand his repertoire in order to be able to show presence regardless of the carnival season. In 1999 he wrote his first solo program “Hausmannskost”. His program was set to music by Harald Claßen.

Jürgen B. Hausmann is now a fixture in cabaret in the Aachen and Cologne region and has also been very successful in filling larger halls with his roughly two-hour solo programs. Exclusively on antenna AC there are daily at 7:40 am and 18:20 a series JB Hausmann .

The Cologne Carnival has also discovered it since 2006, where it is now firmly integrated. Among other things, he was able to make some TV appearances on ZDF at “ Karnevalissimo ” moderated by Guido Cantz and Janine Kunze , the Rose Monday session “Typisch Kölsch” of the EhrenGarde and on ARD within the “Cologne Girls' Meeting”.

Jürgen B. Hausmann has been married to the manager Sandra Beckers since 2004; the couple have two children together.
