Antenne AC has been the local radio for the Aachen city region since October 4, 2010 , making it the successor to 107.8 Antenne AC and Radio Aachen . It is based at the Aachen-Merzbrück airfield in Würselen .

history

107.8 Antenne AC was the local radio in what was then the Aachen district . The first editor-in-chief was Alfons Lauströer. Antenne AC was initially based in the Drimbornshof in Eschweiler- Dürwiß and took over the supporting program for RTL Radio. Antenne AC has been broadcasting from today's studios at Merzbrück airfield at Aachener Kreuz since 2003 . On January 11, 2010, Antenne AC returned to the broadcasting network with radio NRW . Ute Büttner has been the station's editor-in-chief since May 2019.

Antenne AC broadcasts eight hours of local programs for the Aachen city region on weekdays . Antenne AC am Morgen with Torsten Thöndel and Marijke Stasch will be broadcast between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., the radio station at Merzbrück airfield will follow Antenne AC in the afternoon with James Schindowski. The weekend program Antenne AC with Martina Kilian and Frank Laschet is broadcast locally on Saturdays and Sundays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
