Radio Erft is the local radio for the Rhein-Erft district . It has been on air since November 1, 1992.

program

Radio Erft broadcasts 8 hours of local programming every day. This includes the morning program “Your new morning”, which is broadcast between 6 and 10 am, and the afternoon program “Your afternoon” with a slot between 2 and 6 p.m. On Saturdays, Radio Erft broadcasts local programs between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. and between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (all times valid from March 2017). During the broadcast on Saturday evening, new music performances and other songs that are not otherwise on the program are played. In addition, Radio Erft broadcasts citizens' radio on its frequencies in accordance with the statutory provisions . This can be heard on Fridays and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.). The remainder program and the messages on the hour to the coat broadcaster Radio NRW taken. In return, Radio Erft broadcasts an hourly advertising block on Radio NRW. The broadcasting license is held by the broadcasting association of the local radio station, Radio Erft e. V. based in Wesseling . Chief editor

Thomas Habke has been editor-in-chief since 2016; since 2015 he has been acting as head of the editorial team. Before that, Andreas Houska was editor-in-chief for 14 years.

Moderators

Julia Drexler and Christian Meißner present the morning show "Your new morning" on Radio Erft. In addition, Heike Spitzley and Oli Frühauf will moderate in the afternoon, and Sabrina Droste and Philipp Böckmann at the weekend.
