Jürgen Ellwanger

Jürgen Ellwanger (* 1940 in Weyhe - Lahausen ) is a German archivist and local history researcher .

Life

Ellwanger studied shipbuilding at the TU Hannover . He then worked at the Howaldtswerke Kiel (1966–1969), then until 1973 as a research assistant with a teaching assignment for ship production at the TU Berlin . In 1973 he received his doctorate . He then worked at AG Weser until 1976 , then at Krupp in Essen and Rheinhausen , from 1986 to 1990 at MBB Hoykenkamp Marinetechnik and until 1996 at Aircraft Service Center Lemwerder .

From 1998 to 2014 he was head of the integrated community archive in Harpstedt in the Lower Saxony district of Oldenburg .
