The Bystrinski rajon ( Russian Быстри́нский райо́н ) is a district of the Kamchatka region in the Far East of Russia . The administrative center is the village (selo) Esso , which is located almost 650 kilometers northwest of the regional capital Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky .

The Uksichan and the Bystraja flow through the Rajon .

The Rajon is the settlement area of ​​the Evens , Koryaks , Itelmens , Russians .

The Bystrinski rajon comprises two rural communities (selskoje posselenije) . Besides Esso there is only one village, Anagwai. Both villages are heated with thermal springs.
