The Bystraja ( Russian Быстрая ) is a left tributary of the Kosyrewka on the Kamchatka Peninsula .

The Bystraja rises on the eastern flank of the Sredinny ridge , east of the stratovolcano Itschinskaja Sopka . It flows in a north-northeast direction through the mountain range before breaking through it in a west-southwest direction and reaches the valley of the Kamchatka River . Just before the mouth, the river splits. The southern main arm meets the Kosyrewka, 5 km from its confluence with the Kamchatka. The northern smaller arm of the river flows directly to Kamchatka. The Bystraja has a length of 154 km. It drains an area of ​​3830 km².

The rainbow trout and the char Salvelinus leucomaenis occur in the Bystraja .
