Jürgen Falter (born August 2, 1971 in Deggendorf ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Jürgen Falter came to SG Post / Süd Regensburg via FC Edenstetten and SpVgg Deggendorf , where he made a name for himself as a top division goalscorer. Most recently (1996/97 season) he had scored 18 goals in 18 games for Regensburg before 1. FC Nürnberg signed him during the current season. The FCN was relegated from the second division. Coach Willi Entenmann used his newcomer in all other games except for one game, sometimes as a substitute. He only missed the last matchday due to a suspension. Falter was successful with seven goals and the "Club" rose to the 2nd Bundesliga as champions of the Regionalliga Süd . Felix Magath soon replaced Entenmann there, who bet on the storm duo Kurth / Möckel . Falter was usually not included in the line-up and only made nine second division games by the end of the season. In the first two games he had scored one goal each, but they remained his only in the second division.
After the season, which ended with the “march through” of the FCN, ie with a further rise, Falter went to SSV Jahn Regensburg (regional league). During the 1999/2000 season he moved to Wacker Burghausen (Regionalliga Süd). In two years he was used there 28 times (8 goals). After moving to the amateurs of SSV Jahn Regensburg, he reappeared as a top scorer in the league. From 2004 he played with the clubs SC 04 Schwabach , Freier TuS Regensburg , FC Schwarzenfeld and since 2009 with TSV Falkenstein.
