Jürgen Gornas

Jürgen Gornas (born April 18, 1942 in Recklinghausen ) is a German economist.

Life

Gornas completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and then worked for several years as a commercial clerk in industrial companies. After graduating from high school on the second educational path ( Ruhr-Kolleg in Essen ), he studied business administration at the University of Münster with a degree in business administration . He was a research assistant at the Municipal Science Institute in Münster . After receiving his doctorate in 1975 as a Dr. rer. pole. he was appointed professor for administrative studies at the Institute for Administrative Science at the Helmut Schmidt University .

His main research interests are business administration in public administration and public enterprises, in particular public accounting, administrative controlling, administrative planning and budgeting, as well as strategic administrative management with corresponding publications.
