Hassan Ali Saad ( Arabic حسن علي سعد, DMG Ḥasan ʿAlī Saʿd ; * August 17, 1992 in Dearborn ), also as Soony Saad (سوني سعد Sūnī Saʿd ) is a Lebanese football player.
Born in the United States , Hassan Ali Saad also has Lebanese citizenship due to his origins. In the youth national teams he played for the United States. He has been playing for the Lebanese national soccer team since 2013 .
Career
society
Hassan Ali Saad learned to play football at the IMG Academy in Bradenton and with the Michigan Wolverines , which are part of the University of Michigan. He signed his first contract with Sporting Kansas City in 2011 . The club played in Major League Soccer (MLS) and is based in Kansas City , Kansas . In 2015 he left the USA and went to Asia . Here he signed a contract with BEC-Tero Sasana FC , a club that is based in Bangkok and played in the country's highest class, the Thai League . In 2016 he was loaned to the newly promoted Thai League, Pattaya United . For Pattaya he was on the field 28 times and scored nine goals. In 2017 he moved back to the United States to his old club Sporting Kansas City. After the series he played the one with the Swope Park Rangers farm team . The franchise played in the second division, the USL Championship and is based in Kansas City . In 2018 he joined the league rivals Indy Eleven from Indianapolis . Here he played 29 games and scored five goals. At the beginning of 2019, he moved to al-Ansar (Beirut) , a club from Lebanon that plays in the country's first division, the Premier League . In March 2020 he went back to Asia. Here he signed a contract with Ansan Greeners FC in South Korea . With the club from Ansan he plays in the second division, the K League 2
National team
From 2008 to 2009 he ran 16 times for the United States U-17 national team . In 2010 he played ten times for the United States U-20 national team .
He has been playing for the Lebanese national football team since 2013 . He made his national team debut on May 29, 2013 in a friendly against Oman , which was played at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha and ended 1-1. Here he also scored his first goal for his team.
