Jürgen Grzesik

Jürgen Grzesik (born January 31, 1929 in Düsseldorf ) is a German educator and professor emeritus at the University of Cologne .

Life

Grzesik studied philosophy, German and history from 1950 to 1955 in Bonn. In 1955 he passed the first and in 1957 the second state examination in philosophy and German. From 1957 to 1965 he was a high school teacher at the Bayreuther and Siegesstraße high schools in Wuppertal.

In 1960 he started with a thesis on "Historicity as the constitution of mankind. An investigation into the anthropology of Wilhelm Diltheys and Martin Heidegger ." PhD in philosophy with Johannes Thyssen and Gottfried Martin .

In 1965 he was delegated to the educational seminar of the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Cologne. With a thesis on "Planning the Literature Lessons. Basics for the Practice of Literature Lessons" he qualified as a professor in 1973 in pedagogy at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Cologne and received the Venia legendi . From 1973 until his retirement in 1994 Jürgen Grzesik was a full professor at the Pedagogical Seminar of the University of Cologne (chair for teaching and curriculum theory).
