Jürgen Kampmann

Jürgen Kampmann (* 1958 in Herford ) is a Protestant theologian .

Life

After studying Protestant theology at the Universities of Münster and Basel , he passed his first theological exam in 1983. From 1983 to 1984 he had a Karl Koch grant from the EKvW . From 1984 to 1987 he was teaching vicar and synodal vicar in Lübbecke . After ordination in 1987, he was pastor from 1987 to 2006 in Bünde (Ev.-Luth. Kgm. Holsen-Ahle), in the parish of Lübbecke (for substitute services) and in Porta Westfalica ( Evangelical Church Hausberge ). After receiving his doctorate in 1990 and his habilitation in 1997, he headed the Institute for Westphalian Church History at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Münster from 2002 to 2006. In 2004 he was appointed adjunct professor. Since 2006 he has been a professor of church order and modern church history at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Tübingen . From 2013 to 2016 he was dean of the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Tübingen. From 2016 he is synodal of the Evangelical-Theological Faculty of Tübingen in the Württemberg regional synod.
