Jürgen Pohlmann

Jürgen Pohlmann (born December 29, 1953 in Bremen ) is a former DKP functionary, politician of the SPD and was a member of the Bremen parliament .

biography

Family, education and work

Pohlmann graduated from secondary school . An apprenticeship as a machine fitter followed . He later worked as a mechanical engineer and site manager.

Pohlmann is married, has one child and lives in Bremen- Walle .

politics

Until 1990, Pohlmann was a member of the board of the Bremen State Association of the German Communist Party (DKP), where he was the organizational secretary responsible for party structures, contacts, member administration and security teams.

He joined the SPD in the early 1990s, was a member of its Bremen state board from 1995 to 2006 and has been chairman of the local SPD association in Walle since 1995.

From 1999 to 2019 he was a member of the parliament. He was represented in the committee for citizen participation, civic engagement and advisory boards (city), operating committee "Umweltbetrieb Bremen", operating committee KiTa Bremen, state advisory board for sport, petitions committee (state and city), special assets committee for infrastructure of the city of Bremen as well as in the state and city deputation for Environment, construction, transport, urban development and energy. Since 2011 he was on the board of the SPD parliamentary group.

He is the building policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.

In March 2011, Pohlmann won an injunction against Radio Bremen before the press chamber of the Hamburg Regional Court , which claimed in 2009 that he had connections with the stasis-controlled DKP military organization group Ralf Forster .
