Soul assassins
Soul Assassins is a loose artist association founded in 1992 by DJ Muggs . The Soul Assassins include a variety of rappers, producers, DJs, and graphic artists from Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Well-known names include Everlast , The Alchemist , Mr. Cartoon and Estevan Oriol . In addition, since 1991 all Cypress Hill albums have been published by Soul Assassins Music Inc.
Under the name Soul Assassins Chapter I&II, two samplers produced by DJ Muggs were released in 1997 and 2000, on which many hip-hop greats can be heard, e.g. B. Dr. Dre , RZA and GZA , MC Eiht , KRS-One , Wyclef Jean , Xzibit , Dilated Peoples and others.

The following artists work together for the Soul Assassins Studios :
Some artists and groups split from the Soul Assassins. House of Pain and the Funkdoobiest , both members during the early 1990s, split from the Soul Assassins over disputes with DJ Muggs . Others, like Barron Ricks , said they didn't need Muggs for great success, and still others never had success in the first place. B. Whooliganz , Call O 'Da Wild or Fatal .
