MC Eiht (born May 22, 1967 , according to his own information in 1971 , in Compton , California ; real name Aaron Tyler ) is an American rapper and is considered a representative of the genres gangsta rap and west coast hip-hop , as well as at the beginning of his career of the G-radio . He is part of the Compton's Most Wanted group and also known as Tony Smallz. In the movie Menace II Society he played the character of A-Wax.

Life

MC Eiht began his career as part of the group Compton's Most Wanted , in whose rise to national fame he played a decisive role. In 1993 he started his solo career with the group's producer, DJ Slip , with the single Streiht Up Menace , which was released on the soundtrack to the movie Menace II Society . MC Eiht was also seen as an actor in the film. As a result of the success of this single, he was signed by Epic Records . There his debut album We Come Strapped was released , which was titled MC Eiht Featuring CMW , but did not include any work by the group members except for DJ Slip. The album peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200 . However, the two following albums, Death Threatz and Last Man Standing , could not repeat this success, so Epic Records parted with him. However, it wasn't long before he signed a new deal with Mack 10's imprint of Priority Records , Hoo Bangin ′ . MC Eiht now released new albums practically every year and in 1999 devoted himself again to acting, in the film Thicker Than Water , alongside Ice Cube and Mack 10.

In the computer game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) MC Eiht dubbed the role of Ryder.
