Jürgen Preuss
Jürgen Preuss , also known under the pseudonym Weinrich Weine , (born February 18, 1942 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer .
Life
Jürgen Preuss completed an apprenticeship in merchant shipping from 1959 to 1964 . From 1965 to 1995 he worked as a manager in the shipping industry , later also as a management consultant. He stayed temporarily in Great Britain , France , Chile , the United States and, since 1991, in Rotterdam . In the eighties he developed his project FL.AG Ships ( Floating Art Giant Ships ), with the aid of which disused ocean- going ships were to be converted into floating works of art or platforms. Since 1995 he has published short stories , satires and poems as a freelance writer ; he also organizes readings with his own texts. Preuss lives in Ratingen .
