Jürgen Ruch (born March 11, 1959 ) is a former German automobile racing driver . He is the brother of the former racing driver and motorsport team boss Gerd Ruch .

Career

Jürgen Ruch began his motorsport career in 1985 in touring car racing and drove for the Ford Autoveri Motorsport team in the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) in a Ford Escort RS 1600i . After a break, he started in a Ford Mustang 5.0 GT in the ETCC race at the Nürburgring in 1988 .

From 1991 to 1994 he competed in a Ford Mustang 5.0 GT for his brother's motorsport team in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM). In the four years he could not place himself on the points. His best race result was 11th place in the second round of the season finale at the Hockenheimring in 1993 .

In 1994 Jürgen Ruch also drove in the 1st division over 2000 cc of the Special Touring Car Trophy (STT). After the 1994 season, he ended his racing career.
