Jürgen Schüssler (* 1960 in Völklingen ) is a German SPD politician and was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Jürgen Schüssler received his apprenticeship certificate in the building cleaning trade in 1982 and his assistant certificate as an industrial clerk in 1987. It followed in 1989 Abitur at the evening high school " evening school in front of the Holstentor ". In 1998 he passed his first state examination in physics , mathematics and educational science at the University of Hamburg . Since 1998 he has been the managing director of a medium-sized software manufacturer. He is married and has three children.

politics

Schüssler joined the SPD in 1984 and since then has held various functions in the party in Hamburg. From 1993 to 2001 he was a member of the district assembly in Hamburg-Mitte . A deputation in the interior authority followed from 2004 to 2007 .

From October 10, 2007 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament, to which he belonged until March 2008. He moved up four months before the next state election for Andrea Hilgers, who had left for professional reasons . In parliament he sat for his group in the family, children and youth committee and in the budget committee.
