Jürgen Sobieray
Jürgen Sobieray (born November 2, 1950 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German soccer player . He was mostly used in defense .
Sobieray played for FC Schalke 04 from the 1969/70 season . There he completed 210 games in ten seasons. In 1971 he was involved in the Bundesliga scandal . In 1972 he was part of the team that won the DFB Cup . For the 1979/80 season he moved to the second division club DSC Wanne-Eickel , for which he completed 31 missions. A year later Sobieray returned to the Bundesliga. At Borussia Dortmund he was a supplementary player from the 1980/81 season and made 13 appearances in two seasons. Then he was again obliged by a second division club. In the 1982/83 season he played for TuS Schloß Neuhaus . In total, Sobieray played 223 first division and 49 second division games, in which he scored 16 goals.
In September 2001 Jürgen Sobieray was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Dortmund Regional Court for investment fraud.
