The municipality of Lixing-lès-Rouhling is located halfway between Forbach and Sarreguemines , near the border with Germany at an altitude between 210 and 343 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.22 km².

history

The place was first mentioned in documents as Lüxinga in 1315 . From 1591 to 1758 the place belonged to the imperial rule Kerpen .
