Jürgen Thee (born August 5, 1900 in Hüsby ; † November 4, 1980 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1954 to 1971 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school, Thee learned practical farming from 1919 to 1924 and then worked as an independent farmer on a 50-hectare farm. From 1952 he passed the business on to his son as a tenant.

Thee has been involved in local politics since the Weimar Republic . From 1929 to 1955 he was honorary mayor of Hüsby, and from 1935 to 1945 he was head of the office . He was initially a member of the CDU from June 1948 to 1950 and rejoined the party in January 1954. In 1949 he became a bailiff of the Schuby office in the Schleswig district . Thee was also the district administrator's parliamentary representative from 1948 to 1953 . On April 1, 1953, he became district president of the Schleswig district.

On October 28, 1954, Thee became a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament as a successor on the CDU list during the third electoral period . In the elections in 1958, 1962 and 1967 he was re-elected to the state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 7 (Schleswig). He was a member of various state parliament committees, including the economic, finance, justice and home affairs committee.

In 1959 he took part in the third and in 1964 in the fourth Federal Assembly as a substitute member, in which Heinrich Lübke was elected Federal President .

Thee was from June 20, 1967 to August 31, 1970 parliamentary representative of the Minister of Justice Hans-Hellmuth Qualen . Thee left the state parliament at the end of the sixth electoral term on May 15, 1971.

He was awarded the Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1965 and the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1968.
