Jürgen Wieland
Jürgen Wieland (born January 29, 1936 ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1994 to 1999 he was Lord Mayor of Hamm in Westphalia .
Life
The former rector was elected head of the city in 1994, making him the last mayor before the municipal administrative reform, which in 1999 abolished the dual leadership of city director and mayor. His successor in office is the first Lord Mayor of Hamm, who is also the city's main administrative officer . Wieland is currently (2018) a member of the culture committee of the city of Hamm.
