Jürgen Wiesner (painter)

Jürgen Wiesner (* 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a German painter.

Life

Jürgen Wiesner attended the Free Art School in Stuttgart from 1977. From 1978 to 1984 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe (AdBK) and received the AdBK sponsorship award. In 1979 he co-founded the artist group Kriegfried . In 1982 he studied with Per Kirkeby and has been working as a freelance artist since 1984. In 1987 Wiesner received a scholarship under the State Graduate Promotion Act and in 1988 from the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation . Jürgen Wiesner lives and works in Karlsruhe .
