Justin Ray Giddens (born February 13, 1985 in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma ) is an American basketball player . Since 2012 he has been playing for Centrale del Latte Brescia in Italy.
college
Giddens received a scholarship from the University of Kansas . He later moved to the University of New Mexico , which is why he was banned for some time under NCAA rules.
NBA
On June 26, 2008 he was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 30th place. He has not yet signed a contract with the Boston Celtics. Nevertheless, he completed all training units and knew some of his teammates beforehand.
International career
After Giddens could not gain a foothold in the NBA, he played in various teams in Europe. In 2011 he tried to recommend himself for the NBA again via the NBA D-League , but this was not crowned with success. Since 2012 he has been playing for Centrale del Latte Brescia in Italy. During the summer break of 2013, he tried to recommend himself for the NBA through the NBA Summer League . However, he received little playing time and expressed his disappointment that he could not recommend himself for the NBA.
