Jabłoń is a village in the Parczewski powiat of the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland . The place with about 1250 inhabitants is the seat of the rural municipality of the same name with about 3900 inhabitants.
history
Jabłoń was a country estate of the Counts Zamoyski , who built two castles there. From 1975 to 1998 the village belonged to the Biała Podlaska Voivodeship .

The rural community of Jabłoń has an area of almost 111 km² and consists of 11 villages, each with a Schulzenamt. Another Gmina settlement is the forest settlement Jabłoń (leśniczówka), located east of the village in a larger forest area.
