Jacek Falfus

Jacek Eugeniusz Falfus (born February 1, 1951 in Siemianowice Śląskie ) is a Polish politician , local politician and since 2001 a member of the Sejm in the IV., V. and VI . Electoral term.

He graduated from the Faculty of Mining Geodesy of the Cracow Mining and Metallurgy Academy . From 1978 to 1990 he was head of the company "Geoprojekt". From 1990 to 1998 he fulfilled the function of Wójt (Vogt) of the Kozy municipality . From 1998 to 2001 he was Starost and District Councilor of the Powiat Bielski .

He is co-founder and chairman of the association for the “Southern Institute” in Bielsko-Biała as well as initiator and board member of the Polish- Slovak - Czech Euroregion Beskydy .

In the parliamentary elections in 2001 and 2005 he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Bielsko-Biała on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he won a seat for the third time, this time with 18,814 votes.
