The Powiat Bielski is a powiat ( district ) in the Polish Voivodeship of Silesia . It has an area of ​​457 km² and around 150,000 people live there.

geography

The district encloses the district town Bielsko-Biała , which does not belong to it and remains free of a district. Neighboring districts are Pszczyna , Oświęcim and Wadowice , Żywiec and Cieszyn in a clockwise direction from the north .
