John William Alcroft "Jack" Allen (born January 31, 1903 in Newburn , † November 19, 1957 in Burnopfield ) was an English football player .

life and career

Allen played for his home club Newcastle United from 1931 to 1934 . The striker played 90 times for the Magpies and scored 40 goals. He scored his two most important goals in the English Cup final against Arsenal in 1932, when he won the English Cup with the team . Jack Allen scored both goals for a 2-1 win.
