Jack Parker (hurdler)
Jack Parker (actually Frederick John Parker; born September 6, 1927 ) is a former British hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he reached the semifinals.
In 1954, starting for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, he was fourth over 120 yard hurdles and won silver at the European Athletics Championships in Bern .
Two years later he was eliminated from the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.
He set his personal best of 14.3 s on July 30, 1955 in London .
