Jack Thomas Stobbs (born February 27, 1997 in Leeds ) is an English football player .

Career

Jack Stobbs played in the Sheffield Wednesday Youth until 2014 . On April 26, 2014, he made his professional debut in Sheffield when he was substituted on in the second division game against the Bolton Wanderers . Another game in the first team did not follow in the course of the season. He remained without a competitive game after an injury throughout the 2014/15 season. Only in the following season, on May 7, 2016, did his second appearance in Wednesday's jersey against Wolverhampton Wanderers . He also played in the U-23 team which he led as team captain in the 2016/17 season. In August 2017, Stobbs was transferred to the English fourth division club Port Valeawarded. By December he played eight competitive games for the club, five of them in the league. Then he was active again in Sheffield in the second half of the season. Under Dutch coach Jos Luhukay , he was used three times in the championship.

Without having completed another assignment, the 22-year-old was loaned out to Livingston FC in Scotland in August 2019 .
