Jackie Gelling
Jackie Gelling (actually Jacqueline Gelling, nee MacDonald; born October 12, 1932 in Toronto ) is a former Canadian shot putter and discus thrower .
In 1954 she won silver in the shot put at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver , and in 1955 she was fifth in the discus throw at the Pan American Games in Mexico City .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 she was tenth in the shot put and was eliminated in qualifying discus.
In 1958 she won bronze in the shot put at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff and was ninth in the discus throw.
She was five times Canadian champion in the shot put (1953-1956, 1958) and twice in discus throw (1955, 1956).
