The Communauté de communes Rhône Helvie was a former French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Ardèche department , whose administrative seat was in Le Teil . It was located in the southeast of the Ardèche department on the west bank of the Rhône between the small towns of Aubenas and Montélimar . The name referred to the small Gallic people of the Helvier who settled in the region in Caesar's time. The community association founded in 2000 consisted of five communities on an area of ​​121.9 km ² .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes Barrès Coiron and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Ardèche Rhône Coiron .
