Jackline Wambui (born February 8, 2000 ) is a Kenyan middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .
Athletic career
Jackline Wambui gained her first international experience at the U18 World Championships 2017 in Nairobi , where she won the gold medal in 2: 01.46 minutes. The following year she finished eighth at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 2: 04.61 min and in 2019 she won the Junior African Championships in Abidjan in 2: 04.29 min.
In 2019 Wambui became the Kenyan champion in the 800 meter run.
