Jacob Friedrich von Magenau

Jacob Friedrich Magenau , from 1854 from Magenau , (born August 15, 1796 in Niederstotzingen ; † September 5, 1857 ) was a Württemberg governor.

Life and work

Jacob Friedrich Magenau was the son of pastor Rudolf Friedrich Heinrich Magenau . From 1811 he completed an apprenticeship as a clerk at various city clerks and administrative offices. From 1818 to 1827 he was an actuary at the Heidenheim senior office , and from 1828 to 1831 senior actuary at the Marbach senior office . In 1831 he was appointed chief administrator and in 1835 chief administrator at Oberamt Gerabronn . From 1838 to 1843 he headed the Maulbronn Office and from 1843 to 1857 the Besigheim Office .

Honor, ennoblement

1854 Magenau was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown excellent, which with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement was connected).
