Jacob "Bobo" Lekgetho (born March 24, 1974 in Soweto , † September 9, 2008 in Johannesburg ) was a South African football player .

During his career he played for Moroka Swallows and Lokomotiv Moscow, among others . With Moscow he took part in the Champions League 2003/2004 . The defender was active for Lok for a total of four years . On September 9, 2008, Lekgetho died after a long illness.

National team

With the South African national team he took part in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea . There he was only used in the preliminary round game against Spain and could not prevent his team from being eliminated in the group stage.

He also took part in the 2004 Africa Cup . There he played all three of the team's games in the preliminary round, but here too it ended early. Since 2004 he has not been appointed to the national team. He ran 26 times for the national team.
