Jacqueline "Jackie" Emerson (born August 21, 1994 in Washington DC ) is an American actress and voice actress . She became known for her role as the fox face in The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games .

Life

Emerson was born in Washington, DC in 1994 . She is the daughter of business attorney John B. Emerson and attorney Kimberly Marteau Emerson. She has two younger twin sisters. Her father was the US ambassador to Germany from August 2013 to January 2017 . During this time she lived with her family in Berlin .

She got her first speaking role in 2004 as the tiger twins in the series A Lion in Las Vegas . In 2011, Gary Ross discovered her for The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games when he was looking through a video interviewing teenagers about the accompanying book by Suzanne Collins . She auditioned for the role of the fox face and finally got it.

From 2006 to 2007 she played keyboard and sang in the band Devo 2.0 . In 2011 she recorded her first single, Peter Pan . Her second song, Catch Me If You Can , was released in 2012.

In 2011, Emerson was accepted to Stanford University . However, she did not want to start studying until September 2013.
